Visiting Chuck E Cheese Suriname
Caroll 3/26/2026, 7:09:29 PM

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Chuck E. Cheese recently, and I wanted to share this for other autism parents who might be unsure about places like this. We went on a Friday from 1 to 4 PM, and there was only one other family there. That made a big difference. The space felt calm enough for her to actually enjoy it. She loved the trampolines and the virtual reality games. The noise was manageable with earmuffs, which allowed her to stay and have fun without getting overwhelmed. What this reminded me is that these places are not always a no. Sometimes it is about timing and preparation. What helped us: Going during quieter hours Bringing earmuffs Having a simple plan B in case she needed a break Using movement activities like trampolines to balance sensory input There are options for our kids. It just takes a bit of trial, observation, and adjusting to what works for them.
